"Pleasantly surprised by the quick support"
I wasn’t expecting to hear back so fast, but support got back to me really quickly and actually helped me sort things out. It was a nice surprise and made the whole experience much easier.

"Some legit buyers, but umm, be careful"
I’ve had a few real buyers reach out, so it’s not all bad, but umm, there are definitely a lot of scammy messages too. Just be careful and double-check who you’re talking to.

"Got a few decent leads quickly"
My listing started getting views fast, which was reassuring because I wasn’t totally sure what to expect at first. I did get a few solid leads from it, though not everyone who reached out seemed completely serious.

"Pretty easy to list, even if I tripped myself up a bit"
Getting my RV listed was mostly straightforward. A couple of the steps felt a little clunky, but part of that might’ve been me overthinking things or not paying close enough attention. I still got it posted without too much hassle in the end.

"I used RV Trader for a..."
I used RV Trader for a little while, and the billing part was straightforward. It was easy enough to understand, but I did have to poke around a bit before I figured out where to cancel. Once I found it, everything went through without any issues. I didn’t get charged again after that, so overall it was a decent experience.

"Decent site, but the filters could be more fair"
I used RV Trader a few times while shopping around for a used camper, and overall it was easy to browse. There are a lot of listings, which is helpful, and the site itself isn’t hard to figure out.
That said, the filters didn’t always seem to respect what I actually picked. I’d set a price range or location and still get results that didn’t really fit, and the mileage and floorplan filters were kind of hit or miss too. It’s not a terrible experience, but it would be nice if the search worked a little more so people don’t have to waste time sorting through stuff they clearly tried to filter out

"Decent place to look, but you have to verify everything"
I used RV Trader when I was shopping around for a used camper, and overall it was helpful. Some of the listings had solid details and actual photos, which made it easier to compare options and get a feel for what was out there.

That said, a few campers I liked were already sold, and one or two prices changed once I called. I wouldn’t call it a scam or anything, but it’s not something I’d rely on blindly. It’s worth using, but you definitely still need to double-check with the dealer or seller before getting too excited.

"The ad cost felt fair..."
The ad cost felt fair to me and I started getting decent messages from interested buyers quicker than I expected so overall it felt like I got good value for the money.

"Sold my camper faster than expected"
I put my RV on RV Trader and started getting serious messages within a few days. I was a little careful about who I responded to and took my time weeding out anyone who seemed flaky, but that’s just how I am with selling something this expensive. Ended up finding a legit buyer and sold it for close to my asking price. The whole process went smoothly, and I’d use RV Trader again if I ever need to sell another one.

"Hard to find anything, and nobody seems to own it"
I had a frustrating time using this. Pages kept jumping around, the filters would reset out of nowhere, and it made finding anything way harder than it should be. It also wasn’t clear who actually owns or manages the experience, so it just felt like a messy system that nobody is really taking responsibility for.

"Rude and Poor Customer Service"

I've had my RV online with RVTrader an extended period of time.  First, lots of email (messaging) issues back and forth (that maybe after year got fixed), sales people contacts, and horrible customer service.  They have limited hours for such an expensive and national company with little to no consideration to people on other time zones.  No Saturday and Sundays either.  Ridiculous prices if you're not going to be available to help (and even at that).  I had an issue that went to supervisors.  It took about 6 weeks to finally hear back after continued VMs, email, and text pleas for a response so my ad could go back online.  When the supervisor (starts with N) called back, she was condescending, missed the point, kept saying "can I talk now?" inappropriately, and even laughed when I asked for a discount for the continued lack of appropriate customer service and absence of help for extended period of time and loss of valued advertising time. She seemed to think because they had to resolve one issue a year ago, that I was at my limit, when in fact my subscription was dysfunctional.  I guess they only allow one fix.  Just absolutely unprofessional.  It seems they know they are the largest RV marketer so they can treat customers however they want and limited hours of availability doesn't matter b/c they feel they can get away with it.  I hope to never have to do business with them again.

"RV Trader services are terrible - do not recommend!"

RV Trader is not user friendly or responsive. We had several issues from the moment we signed up with their annual listing package.

To start, we were not able to post pictures or videos. We had to send them to the customer service team to load. They were not able to load the videos at all even though everything was within the specs and guidelines.

Inquiries were extremely delayed or never received at all. We know they were not received because we had inquiries come in on other platforms where we were told that they tried contacting us on RV Trader and we never received anything.

You have to renew your posting every 3 months. They send an email telling you this a week before expiration. We didn't always receive the email and when we did, it's very difficult to renew, and customer service is not responsive.

We reached out to customer service multiple times for many different issues and either received no response or it took an unreasonable amount of time to resolve.

The experience was very frustrating and a huge waste of money. Do not waste your time! There are better platforms to advertise. We ended up selling our camper using a competitor which was free, but you can even spend some money to boost your listing which is way cheaper than RV Trader.

I will not use again in the future and do not recommend.
